Brunsard & Lot Architectes



B+L is an architecture practice founded in Biarritz in 2016 by Loïc Brunsard and Hervé Lot. It builds with bio-based materials and the materials of the region (timber, straw, earth, stone, lime) and makes reuse a design tool.
Attentive to resources and to the long term, it treats each project as a dialogue between geography, economy, landscape and construction systems.
Social housing, schools, houses, villas and heritage: the same standards at every scale.
Recent work includes the renovation of Errobi secondary school in Cambo-les-Bains, carried out while the school stayed open.
