The project sits in the residential Saint-Charles district, on the site of a former, densely wooded grove left abandoned. Set between a secondary school, sports facilities and a busy road, it establishes an urban form that allows the grove to be restored over time. The building reads as a fragmented volume, organised around an external walkway and open to air, light and vegetation. Every flat is at least dual-aspect or runs through the building, and each has a generous loggia in locally sourced timber.
